Western Digital blames malware for my book Live devices that are removed remotely

The value of Terabytes data, years of memories and hard work months vanished in an instant. Users could not even log in to the WD cloud infrastructure for diagnosis, because their passwords were no longer working.

Several owners examined the cause of the problem and determined that their devices were removed after receiving a remote command for a factory reset. Commands begin to leave at 3 pm on Wednesday and lasted over the entire night.
