It seems that the epic game store can soon get two games of great name. Users have discovered references to Final Fantasy Vii Remake and Alan Wake Remastered stalking in listings published in a data tracker of the Epic Games store. The listings suggest that both games are on the way to the epic gaming (and PC in general) before any of the ports has been officially revealed.
The listings were discovered by the users of REDDIT ASLEEPENTREPREEUR73 and AWAREREPLAACEMENT1587, which published screenshots of these listings A / R / GaminglaeaksandRumors in Reddit. Both of these listings show clear references to the final version of Final Fantasy VII and Alan Wake Remastered, which suggests that both titles are reaching the epic game store.
There are some things that are worth pointing about these listings. The first is that the data of these games were loaded under code names: Heronstaging for Alan Wake Remastered and pineapple for Final Fantasy VII Remake. Actually, they were the tickets for the value of cloudsavefolder that removed the true titles of the games, but at the time since these leaks were published, both directories have been updated to show the code name of each game instead of their Royal Title
It is also worth noting that the latest version of Fantasy VII has not been announced for any platform outside of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, while Alan Wake Remastered has not been announced at all. That said, there has been a lot of speculation with respect to both titles. We have known since before the final version of Final Fantasy VII, which was only an exclusive timed in PlayStation 4 and that the one-year exclusivity period is now over, which leads others to speculate that ads for other platforms are in road.
As regards Alan Wake Remastered, Remedy has not said anything about it. Even so, the study has confirmed that the rights of the Alan Wake franchise have been reversed and have said that it could bring Alan to awaken other platforms if he wanted.
The big question: Apart from whether these games are coming to the PC first, it is whether or not, they will be exclusive from the epic game store when they arrive. The data discovered in this tracker really only tell us that EPIC is preparing so that these games are launched in their store and do not reveal anything about exclusivity. We will only have to see if any official announcement comes around the Epic curve, Square Enix, or Remedy, but for the moment, it seems Final Fantasy Vii Remake and Alan Wake Remastered is on the way to PC.
