Goldeneye 007 remake at Far Cry 5 has been turned off

Update: Unfortunately this Goldeneye 007 remake has now been withdrawn from the Far Cry 5 server after Ubisoft received copyright complaints. Krollywood, the creator of the map, said complaints came from MGM, the studio behind James Bond, and who was known to release the removal of the Goldeneye fan project in the past. Ubisoft did not mention MGM in his own statement about disputes.

The original story continues below

Original: Goldeneye 007 remake that you have been waiting for finally released, but not in a way you might expect. All levels of the classic N64 title have been recreated at Far Cry 5, giving you new reasons to download Ubisoft 2018 releases.

Users PSN Perfect-Dark1982 re-created the Goldeneye map using an extensive Far Cry 5 creation tool which includes assets from the large selection of Ubisoft titles (including Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs). Goldeneye level is available for download and played now through arcade game mode.

Unfortunately, even with Far Cry 6 immediately comes out, we will not get your expectations above the next Goldeneye 007 experience. Unlike most matches in the Far Cry franchise until now, far crying 6 will lack map editors when launched, even though they remember how much creator and players seem to like modes that we might look back in some form in the future.

How to Play Goldeneye Remake at Far Cry 5

If you want to know how to play this Goldeneye 007 remake for yourself through Far Cry 5, this is how to do it.

If you play on the Playstation, you will want to find a user ‘Perfect-Dark1982’ in Arcade Far Cry mode 5. From there you have to see their level creations, including the Goldeneye level remake.

Or, if you play far cry 5 on a PC or Xbox, you will want to find a ‘GE64’ map of the ‘Mapswapper2’ user that has transported the level to the platform.
