Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the first games I have ever played grow – but for youth today, the honor might go to Minecraft (or if you are truly unfortunate, fortnite).
Now, though, my childhood hero Sonic enters the Minecraft world to celebrate his 30th birthday, and I feel like this is the best opportunity for me to play Mojang’s very popular game for the first time.
You know, for someone who is proud of taking a sample of most of what the game world has to offer, I am a little embarrassed to admit that I still haven’t played Minecraft after years. I don’t know whether it’s the entire nature of the game “build itself” that first makes me go or visual blocky base, but the hobby passes me in the blink of an eye – kind of like Sonic that runs above the speed.

The best game film, including Sonic The Hedgehog
However, after watching Sonic X Minecraft DLC trailer, I thought I might be ready to give Minecraft, a good old college trying to finally see what the commotion was. I mean see how great Sonic uses a unique artstyle minecraft … and fingerbooks.
Even though Sonic and Minecraft Crossover did not spin around “mine, crafts, building” Mojang game formulas, it might be a good thing. I can dip the toes to the unique world behind something I have known and loved, because the DLC Sonic will have a player collecting a ring, blocking the obstacles passing and defeating the boss. Then, if I find myself heating ways Minecraft, maybe, maybe, I will go crashing a few blocks.
Most importantly, Sonic DLC looks much bigger than the Crossover Super Mario, which only looks like a lot of skin and items into my untrained eyes. Take it, Mario.
