Earlier this week, we mentioned that the Quest Oculus 1 will get support for the air link as part of the update 30.0. The update now launches to Oculus users, and releases records that detail some of the main features for updates available. One of the largest enhancements in Build 30.0 is a microphone management system.
With new updates applied, users will be able to exchange microphones between parties and chat games. The Mic switching is done through a universal menu and choosing voice management. The ability to control the microphone is something that the user wants for a long time. Another important feature is to increase multitasking.
Users can multitask using several 2D application systems side by side in Oculus’s house in QWest 2 and the search headset. Supported applications include exploring, shops, browsers, events, oculus tv, Oculus Move, scoreboard, and others. Users must enter the Experimental Feature Section settings and turn on multitasking to activate multitasking features.
Version 3.0 also carries color correction, accessibility features that allow users to adjust the color method displayed on the headset. Using color filters requires users to enter the settings, select accessibility, and activate color correction. The user will then be able to set the filter and adjust the intensity of the filter to adjust the color method displayed.
Increasing the display allows users to raise and adjust their views, give them a point of view that stands as they sit physically. This is good for those who have mobility problems and welcome updates. Increasing the display is an experimental feature that requires users to enter the experimental settings section and turn on your height increase features. As we mentioned earlier, another great feature of updates 30.0 is that the Quest 1 headset also gets the support of the Oculus air link. It is an experimental feature, again in the experimental settings section.
