The Department of Technology & Science, Government of India conducts a scholarship program called Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana. This exam is held every year. This exam aims to provide scholarships to the students and motivate them to take up a career in the field of science. Since the students from all over India take part in this test, the competition is high.

Qualified students are given scholarships till pre Ph.D. level.

Every year, this exam is conducted to find exceptionally talented students with a dream to pursue research in science. According to the performance in the aptitude test, short-listed students will be called for an interview. The final stage of the selection procedure is the interview. Eligibility Criteria

The students must be enrolled in 11th grade Science stream during the academic year of 2020 and 2021. A minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Maths and Science subjects in their class 10th board examinations is mandatory. For SX steam, the candidate must be enrolled in 12th grade Science stream during the academic year of 2020 and 2021. Students should check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Those who do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be allowed to take the test.
