‘CyberPunk 2077’ is back in the PlayStation store

As promised, Sony has restored CyberPunk 2077 on the PlayStation store after two major fixes. For now, the Developer CD Projekt Red recommend sticking players on the PS4 Pro and PS5 versions of the game because the basic version PS4 always has some “performance problems”. He also reiterated that a free Next-Gen upgrade will land in the second half of the year.

The Polish studio will hope that the return of the game to the PS control shop marks the end of a chapter notoriously troubled in its 27-year-old story. CyberPunk 2077 has undergone a sloppy launch in December, with users complaining many bugs and accidents. Sony reacted by pulling the game of its digital store quickly and offering clients refunds.

In the following months, CD Projekt Red has published many hotfixes and two major game patches, although the second is delayed after being a ransomware attack that has left employees unable to access their computers.

Despite the problems, CyberPunk was then the first game of the studio with more than 13.7 million copies sold by the end of 2020.
