Square Enix would have developed a lively series based on Final Fantasy 9, the beloved psone entrance in the series.
According to a recent Kidscreen report, the project is under development with the French Cyber Group House studios – which will also lead distribution, license and merchandising – and start production this year.
Final Fantasy 9 (stylized as Final Fantasy IX) was published for the original Playstation in 2000 and moved the series of its realistic character models (at the time) to a more Cartoonish aesthetic. He follows, while the show would be for children aged eight and 13.
