Toyota trains his robot to remove the table while taking a selfie

Apparently, C, and that’s a company that has a problem designing machines for household work needs to be overcome. Toyota has developed a solution to this problem and has released videos that show tables that wipe out robots and other surfaces – all when taking the video itself.

As the company described, “Most robots are programmed to react to objects and geometry in front of them” and cannot distinguish between actual objects and reflections. Something common like a drinking glass or shiny grills can prevent robots from working in homes from doing their duties correctly. Toyota said it overcomes the problem by developing a new training method that allows robots to “consider 3D geometry from the temporary scene also detect objects and surfaces.”

In the video, you will see Toyota robots see 3D geometry of various elements in a house, allowing it to recognize all types of surfaces that can be removed, such as tables and counters. It can even detect transparent glasses and move it.

Max Bajracharya, Robotika Vice President in Tri, said: “Robot training to understand how to operate in a home environment raises special challenges because of the diversity and complexity of our homes where small tasks can add big challenges.” The Bajracharya team aims to develop the ability of the robot to strengthen human ability, so that the machine can help people in aging society. This development is a big step towards achieving that goal.
